right front wheel is moved 1cm to the back after accident :(

i just had an accident because my fl2 was slipped on the highway. luckily there were only scratches on the front bumper (RH), rear bumper(RH), and both of the wheels (RH).

i thought it was okay but when i go to a garage to do a wheel alignment, they said that my right front wheel is 1cm closer to the fender and the doors.

im wondering which part of my body were bent? can i fix this?

i'll post up the photo of it soon.

:(

First question is does the car still drive in a straight line with no pulling to the left or right?
The steering wheel should be straight ie horizontal on the centre pad, if its moved off centre then youve damaged somthing.
As Bobtail has said it could be a bent lower arm. carefully study the left hand bottom arm then go and have a look at the right hand arm, they should mirror each other.
If your car is a manual then its probable that its had a clutch fitted; the mechanic may have removed the front subframe andf not torqued the bolts up tight. The subframe holes have some 'slop' in them to allow for its alignment in the bodyshell, check where the bolts go and see if you can see if the dirt has been disturbed around any of the bolts.
At best you may be able to slacken the subframe bolts and juggle it back to alignment, or you may have to replace the bottom arm; at worst you may need a new subframe. its highly unlikely with the damage you mention that you will have done damage to the bodyshell.
Kind regards

Nico, I'm not sure what you mean by 'slipped' - what exactly happened? What did the car hit, or what hit the car? How did you end up with damage to both bumpers and wheels, but not the wings (fenders) or doors?

I think "slipped" = "skidded". 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech

Like slipped up on the ice, walk talk not road talk, its foreign thing I imagine.

Slipped along the armco barriers with the sound of it.

The way we used to check this sort of problem was to find a good measuring point at each side of the car that are in the same place eg seat mounting bolts then measure from that point at each side to the end of the lower arm (ball joint).
If you find you get the same measurement at each side start to measure different points on the suspension till you find the problem,I would say if its not the lower arm chances are it will of bent the lower part of the strut where it pushes into the stub axle.

Good luck and keep us posted
