Knowsley Safari Park cost me £14 last year, the Baboons, or one to be precise pulled the washers off the bonnet and snapped the wires |

I went to Knowsley a couple of years ago, I didnt go through the baboon enclosure. We had a right laugh at all the damaged that was done to the cars. I wonder what the police would make of all the cars leaving with no wipers, mirors hanging off etc ?? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Good story oldgeezer, but can't help being cynical given the date of the post.

Nope sorry ! Nothing to do with April 1st. Bit gutted. At loosing tyre with only 800 miles on. I have taken some pics and u can see the puncture marks in the side wall. I also have the incident captured on my incarnations camera but all u can see is the jeeps flying too and fro inches from my car.

That's why when the children were of an age that they wanted to do this we used the local tour bus company who used one of their old school buses and fitted a steel bar across the entrance door to prevent uninvited guests.

This puts me in mind of a trip to Knowsley Safari park about 25 years ago in Renault 5 with my twin daughters aged about 5. The baboons had their fingers under the rubber seals on the hinge opening rear windows and were trying to lever it open/off which a bit scarey as they almost succeeded. They then sh*t all over the sun-roof and bonnet. My girls thought it was hilarious driving home with more baboon sh*t flying off the faster we went with them shouting "faster, faster daddy". Never again! - 2007(57) XS Auto, Rimini Red, Alpaca Leather.
