Welcome...
Top Tip is to swap the key fob every month to keep them both charged.
Replacements are cheap to buy but expensive to re-programme at the dealership.
Enjoy ! _________________

I know what you mean, I think I have cost a lot of people a lot of money!

Have a look at my biography Burnsy, I think I am safe in saying that I have done more to my Freelander than anyone else on the forum. Thumbs Up

I end up spending more money to keep my misses happy. Big Cry

I was given the silent treatment for 2 days when I spent a little money on the FL2, and now she's asking for a new car! Rolling Eyes

The funny thing is, my FL2 is technically the Mrs car, so she doesn't know new stuff is added until she goes out in it, or see's me with the car in bits.

She just rolls her eyes and says, "what are you doing now?" To be fair, she is good like that and let's me get on with it. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

I reccomend you search the post on adding two stroke oil, all started by Yamaha Fan. I would warn you that it will take you a good number of hours to read.
Some on here are converts, some not. For me with a FL2 auto adding two stroke has given me significant fuel figure improvements particularly noticeable when towing.

I am a strong believer that if the manufacturer doesn't use two stroke, then I won't. I really can't see it making that much difference. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

And the above two posts will save you from reading the whole 2SO thread. They have basically provided you with the two opinions Laughing Never tell me the odds.
