LED maplights

I've tried a couple of LED BA9S Canbus bulbs as replacements for the standard maplight bulbs.

Unfortunately neither have worked.

Has anyone got the details of any that they know work and where they were purchased from?

Thanks
Simon

To make them work, you must inverse polatities.

I wasn't sure how to do that as they are bayonet fittings?

I suspect these are bayonet bulbs with one centre contact and one contact around the bayonet part of the base. I.e. the polarity is fixed!

The socket is to be modified, to inverse polarities. I tried to do this but for the moment I dropped it. Anyhow when I was investigating why LEDs are not working I inverted life + and - . It was working fine, but problem appeared how to connect door operating +.

Can anybody help?
I've fitted a Ford Focus front interior light and want to change the bayonet type standard bulbs for LED's
I'm guessing that they work on battery voltage direct such that Canbus error free isn't needed.
.
Please can somebody direct me to a bulb spec and supplier?
.
I've changed the festoon for a 4 led type non Canbus and am not impressed. So of a member can direct me to a better led festoon I'd appreciate.
