I've tried a couple of LED BA9S Canbus bulbs as replacements for the standard maplight bulbs.

To make them work, you must inverse polatities. |

I wasn't sure how to do that as they are bayonet fittings? |

I suspect these are bayonet bulbs with one centre contact and one contact around the bayonet part of the base. I.e. the polarity is fixed! |

The socket is to be modified, to inverse polarities. I tried to do this but for the moment I dropped it. Anyhow when I was investigating why LEDs are not working I inverted life + and - . It was working fine, but problem appeared how to connect door operating +. |
