fl2 heated front screen

hi there a bit of advice please,
my heated front screen is only defrosting in certain areas it is clearing vertical strips but leaving vertical strips frozen, is this repairable or is it a case of a new windscreen which would mean as far as i am concerned living with the fault

Sounds like some of the elements are faulty. You could check the connections, but I think you will need a new screen. Insurance job will only cost excess. (you will need to damage it of of course)

Stone chips can cause individual elements to go, I have one on mine.
I think if it was a connector issue you lose a whole side not individual strips.
