I sold my 20 month old HSE in Auto Trader back in January so I could order my new FL2 for March delivery. MY13- TD4 XS Mauritius Blue, Privacy glass, Cold climate pack, Tailgate spoiler, Armrest pack, LED signature, Body side mouldings, Full size spare and finally Mudflaps

I'd imagine that unless the owners of the new 13 cars picked theirs up on the 1st, it will be a steady drip throughout the month. Then they've got to get the cars checked over, repaired and prepped. Or sent to auction. Might be more available in the middle/end of the month. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

There has never been a big influx of used FL2's on the market after a new reg since the FL2 has been launched. This is why residuals have been so high.

The LR dealer nearest to me seems to have significantly fewer FL2s than usual on their website. Maybe they've somehow been clearing them out prior to the new lot coming in. |

I think it is a case of people hanging on to them for longer, hence the shortage of 3-5 year old cars. My local dealer are desparate for HSE FL2's that are around 3-4 years old! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

That makes sense, thanks for the input. I'll just keep waiting for the 'perfect' freelander |

Also some dealers report a drop in 13 plated vehicles sales due to superstition.

Well we cant be too superstitious in NE Scotland. Local dealer had that many cars due out on the first they were having to do half of them from another site. They now also also have plenty of used FL2s if anyone is interested 2014 SD4 HSE

I would think a lot of 13 plates then were company/fleet cars so the users wouldnt have a choice about the number 13?? |
