I had the same many years ago, it had the glass bowl on the side, ironically with a Shell Garage, the diesel tank only held 20 gallons, it kept pumping, taking ages to fill, pulled the nozzle out and nothing was coming out, so kept it going let it get to 75 gallons then went to the kiosk, they wanted me to pay for 75 gallons, said that the tank only held 20 and still wasn't full, they were out of fuel but the pump was still registering. Told them that I hadn't put any in so the ten gallons that I put in was free. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

I could get 43 litres into the empty tank of a Nissan Micra. Guess I really did have an empty tank I assumed that the filler hose took the rest. Everything is relative to my point of view |
