Mud Flap Fitting!!!!!!

Hello all,
I know i am going over old ground but has anyboby recently fitted mud flaps to there FL2s?,an how much agro where they to do yourself?.My local dealership has quoted 220 pounds to supply and fit!,where as i have just got a complete set for 76 pounds of ebay via an Exeter dealership!.

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Narvik Black

Cliff,
The rear kit is easy to fit just some screws,but the fronts are a little fiddely as you need to drill the lower body trim to mount the support plate,rears about 10 mins fronts,about half an hour,the kits should come with instructions and are easy to follow.

Hi guys, can anybody tell me how to remove the plastic trim to fit the front mud flaps. I have look at the LR site and removed the bottom screw and cannot easily pull the trim off, is there a any other locating pegs i am missing? Hope you can help.

You need to be brave! when the screw is out give it a good tug,its on pop fittings and they are well tight, you could and should use a trim tool to lever them out but use a flat blade screwdriver if you have too!

Pull the trim towards you,outwards.the clips are not expensive if you snap one!!!
and the whole trim is ony a few quid if you crack it.
