Headlight removal

I want to change the bulbs in my headlights. In the summer I tried to do this,
but had a problem with the offside light. The nearside came out easy, but the
offside would not budge. Obviously I do not want to pull to hard for fear of
damaging the unit. Any ideas? (Did not know this forum existed in the summer!)

Are you pulling the release lever at the back of the lamp? Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

My guess is dirt in the plastic runners the light sits on or the retain clip is not releasing enough

see if you can work out how to lube it by removing the headlight you can get out, and see were you can get the small spray straw from a can of WD40 Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
