When I drove in Europe last summer I didnt get the xenons on my Audi A3 altered at all, I simply avoided driving at night! But as the wine is plentiful over there I wasnt in a fit state to do any night driving |

I bought some of those beam benders but there so confusing as to where to put them I think I still dazzled on coming drivers. on my early freelander you could buy lamp protectors with the blanked out section on them but from 03 they dont do them anymore 07my Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Baltic Blue,Privacy Glass,Ebony black leather,Land rover detachable towbar,S/S Side bars,Climair wind deflectors,Bramble Rash, |

We have an HSE with halogen, and prior to going to France last year, the local dealer gave us a sheet of paper printed in Polish or Czech giving the exact area on each lens which had to be covered up with isulating tape. This worked fine, except that you need white spirit to get the adhesive off the lens when you remove the tape.

Page 73 in the owners manual desribes the method to move a lever to adjust the headlights beam for continental driving but looking at the pictures it appears that this is only available on the Bi-xenon healamp units, and even then you have to remove the unit from the car to do it.
