I think our battery is due to be replaced as is struggling slightly now as 5 years old, have used a Ctek charger on it but not really made a difference, is it OK just to swap over or will it get all confused and put warning lights on and need to go to Landrover if I do so, heard so many horror stories about changing batteries in different cars, or it it just a case of needing my radio code and swapping

Alex, mines an SD4 so no start/stop and had a new battery fitted at Easter, LR Assist reset mine and ticked a few boxes also. |

From what I know, the battery type, current rating, etc. are stored into the CCF.

I don't know FL2 batt management in detail. I assume that if the battery voltage drops below a certain threshold, then the interval between stop/starts events is adjusted accordingly.

There are so called "STOP INHIBITORS, START INITIATORS AND START INHIBITORS" that say when, where and why... |
