Squeak or squeal - not sure which!

Evening all,
Any thoughts on a squeak I’m suffering from… I’ve started to notice that after about twenty minutes of driving a squeak/ squeal starts to come from what sounds like the back end. If I turn it goes and when I break it goes but starts again as soon as lift off the breaks or straighten up.
I appreciate that this is all rather vague and very difficult to answer but any thoughts would be appreciated…
The car is a 58 with 30k on the clock.

Cheers

NSM

Try spraying a bit of silicon spray around springs/ dampers, worked for my squeak!

You could be onto something there - typicaly I was over-thinking the problem! Still, if anyone has any other thoughts I'd love to hear them...

Yes agree could well be the brake pads if yours are still the original. The was a problem a few years back where the pads delaminated when wet causing a squeal with the symptoms you describe - happened on mine

All sounding a little more reassuring now - they are an easy fix - arent they!
Has anyone done this themselves yet? It's one of those jobs I dont mind having a go at myself but I see Mr Haynes and all his pals havent got round to doing the FL2 yet...
