If it is illegal to have them mounted that high a lot of Trucks I see are illegal, many have bars across the tops of the cabs, one make in particular comes from the factory with Headlight type lights fitted to the top corners of the cab. |

The Nissan extrail T Spec has the driving lamps mounted on the end of the roof rails

Yes, thought about the X-Trail so took a look on a Nissan forum. Apparently Nissan state in the handbook that they are for off road use. I still agree with Nicedayforit with ref to the Lighting Regs. |
