I was informed by a dealer today that LandRover plan to cut back on dealers car allocation from the start of the new year which I suspect is to support the demand from the Far East.

You might even find it stranger then that at launch the Freelander came down the same trim & final lines as the X Type Jag saloon & estate in left/right derivates. The current build mix sees Freelander & Evoke 3 & 5 door not only do the same but also are built through the Body shop down the same lines. This is due to a lean manufacturing process used by all major car manufacturers. |
