LRE at Luton told me they always use the premium fuel as it seems to prevent DPF problems. I certainly noted a difference in performance on my Disco TD5. Haven't done any serious checking on my FR2 but I do seem to get better performance from Jet/Shell/BP than I do with Sainsbury's.
