Yes. If you ordered the full spare in place of the 'squirty gunk' then it will come with the proper Landrover jack.

Thanks guys! I assume it also comes with a mounting kit for safe storage?
Does it have other plastic bits around it in the boot etc?
Sat in Stavanger airport writing this - gotta love the internet Thumbs Up * GONE. GS TD4 Manual MY2013. Orkney Grey with privacy, cold and clearview packs, armrests (a must!) and a spoiler.

My wheel has a screw clamp which holds it secure and the jack was just underneath the spare wheel. The jack did not have a mounting kit.

This has never been a problem. No rattles etc and as they both sit under the boot floor, neither interfere with anything.

Are you flying or meeting someone? If flying, hope its a good one.

Bryan

I ordered a full size spare when I bought my MY2010 it came with jack and jack handle which clips to the jack. The wheel retaining screw fitting which holds the wheel in place and forms a support for the removable boot floor also screws through the jack holding it firmly to the floor of the wheelwell.

Although I have not so far had to use either jack or spare, the one issue I have is that if you have sidesteps fitted you have to remove them before you can jack up the car which could be a bit of a pain.

OK, too late to add spare wheel to new car order so plan B:
1) Find a 17" alloy / steel spare rim (and maybe a tyre) on ebay
2) Buy a jack - does this one from Machine Mart look like the OEM one in terms of the saddle area that makes contact with the car sill? I have a feeling it looks right and is 5 times cheaper than the LR version Very Happy

Hi snowy, In fact, it is possible, certainly on the rear wheels, to change them without removing the side steps - you need to use the winding handle at about right angles to the car, not the normal 45 degrees. A little bit awkward, but easier and quicker than removing the steps. It is down to the possibility of the handle fouling on the step, the jack itself fits underneath without a problem.
Cheers.

Update:
Won a new 17" steel spare with new tyre on eBay for £70 Thumbs Up
Need wheel brace now - what are the wheel nut sizes? Can't measure as I don't have the new car yet Whistle
Machine mart jack looks like it should do the trick
