I don't think my old Kia Sportage met its MPG claims, but then neither does my FL2 |

Can't speak for the US for in the EU, published MPG figures are over a mandated EU drive cycle (NEDC), which strives (and fails) to replicate "real" driving.

surely the point is that if you live in the US you will get compensated but over here with the toothless wonders in whitehall and strasbourg you wont get anything, as usual.

Overstated economy figures are nothing new, but will probably have worsened recently to give understated emissions figures to secure lower tax banding. Not that I'm cynical, of course Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

My mini claims 74 mpg but best I have seen is 61 - normally average 52
