My new rear wiper blade arrived the other day courtesy of Duckworths. I have finally got around to fitting it today only to find it is a different style (same as the front one's). I studied the handbook to no avail.

No problem with the LR part, it is simply ready for replacement. I rang Duckworths (who supply genuine LR parts) and asked quite simply for a Freelander 2 rear wiper blade. It has all the LR packaging and so on. I have just had a thought though, perhaps they have supplied me with a MY11 onwards rear wiper blade LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby LOT (Lord of Time) - University of Gallifrey |

Yes CG, the arm has a hook so I will look again tomorrow and if I can't resolve it I will contact Duckworths for advice. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

On the pics you posted, the top piece looks much smaller than that on the wiper blade I have got but I will investigate further tomorrow. Although I have just looked again and I think it's just a case of can't see the wood for the trees. I think it will be fine so I assume then that this different design is a better and more effective wiper than the old design. It is the same style as the front one's.
