When I bought my MacBook Pro last year, it had OSX Snow Leopard installed. I decided against downloading OSX Lion when it came out due to many negative reviews. OSX Mountain Lion has received much praise from users so I downloaded it today.

I have but not quite sure what the improvements are! I'm sure there are, just need to play around and find them. |

I loaded in Lion recently and have no issues with it. I always like to wait for things to settle down before installing software/OS.

I downloaded Lion a year ago and Mountain Lion this week. No problems with either on my 2009 Macbook Pro. |

I've never really used Safari, used to be a Firefox man but now very much in the Chrome arena.

Well my version didn't and my Parallels does need updating but that would require a new purchase...not worth it for the gains of Mountain Lion at the moment with my 4 year old MBP |

I read somewhere that Front Row has been dropped from OSX Lion onwards. Makes me reluctant to upgrade my iMac as FR is one of my favourite apps. 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech
