hi does anybody know if the engine number is visable from the engine bay and if so where it is Question rainy-city

It does, maybe a mirror and torch and good eyesight! No good for me as these days I have to hold my reading material 2 metres away and then its too small Sad

Assuming you're on about diesel...

You'll never see it from the top - you're better than me if you can! Laughing

Best way to view is remove the front towing eye cover and look through the hole up towards the top of the sump/base of the block.

May I ask why you want to see the engine number (other than nice to know it's there)?
