PJW - difficult to answer. I think that most noise comes from the type of road surface and of course, the type of tyres on your car. However, I can say that when I renewed the tyres on my old FL1 from Goodyear to Michelin, there was a distinct improvement...much less noise, and better handling I might add. I will be doing the same on my FL2 in another 40k miles. |

Thanks chrisaviss I have only done 350 miles so some time to go before i change tyres, there seems to be a lot less tread on the goodyear wrangler Hp than the tyres on the Sorento lets hope I get 20K+ out of them.

Thanks Dave Tyre pressures were a little high at 35psi made no difference to road noise when reduced to 32 |
