If I tried to "Kill off the moss "I would be left with brown dead ex-greenie stuff.but as It is about 1000 ft asl the only thing that survives is the moss, the rest just zipp,s past a trillion mph when the wind blows, no trees, no hedges, (a few stone walls)for the sheep to shelter behind , and more sheep  than you can wipe off your guchie wellies.(all the fresh green grass with all this rain !!) Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper.
