im no expert but i believe these are all fed air from a single fan so as long as the 'flap' opens when you turn the vent to open it should work as long as you have direct the air flow to these vents

Just had a quick look now and the little flap doesnt open behind the grill. I reckon it will be simple to fix but I might take it to my local dealer (Rocar mores, Huddersfield) I bought it from Perrys in Barnsley (non LR dealer), didnt realise at the time that Perrys own Rocar mores untill a couple of little things needed to be done on my car before I picked it up and it was sent to Rocar Mores for the repairs.

Fixed the vent today. Had reversing sensors fitted today and the chap who fitted the sensors showed me how to take the speaker grill off etc (he had the tools). Like Pegleg said the arm had come off the ball joint. Took about 10 mins to sort in total.

I pulled mine off while installing my Garmin - you can get to it from the side with the Glove box out too without too much contortion. |
