2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Tambora Flame

The car is very much still going. 100k miles now, never let us down. It’s had a few more tyres, brake parts and that’s about all. Still on original clutch. It’s the most reliable car ever!

The missus will never part with it! To be fair, it’s still in perfect condition.

She’s just about to clock up 100k miles! Not seen much use recently with the missus working from home quite a bit. Still going fine though, probably due one of my ‘blasts’ down the A50 to clear her throat!

I’ll mention it to the missus. I think she’ll just run it until it finally falls bits though, although she doesn’t need such a big car now I have an estate and normally chuck the dogs in mine.

It’s about that time that she’s got to go!

The missus just put a deposit down on a Ford Kuga ST Line X, so the Freelander is getting pensioned off. Not a single serious mechanical issue, just tyres and the odd battery. It’s been an absolute trooper of a car. Will miss it.

You could get a Ford Kuga with the 2.0L petrol ecoboost as in the Petrol Freelander & see what you were missing out on. It's a great engine. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
