Hi Ian
I can answer the roof bar question. The roof bars are bought separate the bar fitted is a support bar.

Enjoy your Freelander 2

IAn,

did you receive 2 key fobs with the car, I just found a spare LR fob in my key safe, so its either for your car or the one I sold 18months later

I'm sure we have two keys but will check when I get home next week.

Just to let you know, the car has thus far since purchase had two headlight bulbs and two front tyres. That is it, each MOT it passes with zero advisories. It's the most economical car in terms of servicing and parts we've ever owned!

Gents, to echo others this is the best thread I have had the pleasure of reading on the forum. The spirit and politeness between current and past owner is fantastic, and a pleasure to read. Keep the updates coming every now and then Thumbs Up

The car has been ultra reliable. It's the other half's so I don't drive it very often but it's been a great tool thus far. I've got to say I had my reservations when she said she wanted one but how wrong I was, it's brilliant. We've certainly never owned a car that's cost so little to maintain, especially now considering its age and the fact it's done nearly 80k miles.

It's probably the best car we've ever owned between us!

Not anymore, but it was the first car I ever bought new in 2007, and (another) car I wish I'd kept hold of.
The 9-3 2.8T Aero was a rocket propelled armchair.
Three weeks after selling it (due to company car) the new owner wrapped it around a lamp post and it was written off. Anyone that says it was just a Vectra in drag hadn't driven and owned one. I had two Vectras before the Saab and they weren't in the same league.
Feeling depressed now Big Cry

One of my cars, a couple of years in the re-build....

My current winter/track hack (running a Stage 3 map and is very, very fast indeed!)....

I must have owned 30 Saabs over the years, my first car was a 96 V4 and I've owned at least one ever since.

Hi Nick, Do I take it that Landrover still not solved that problem?
