Well the price at the pump is supposed to be going to fall as the price of oil has dropped by $15 a barrel on the world markets in the last week.................................. I can safely predict that it will not fall in price anywhere nearly as quickly as it rose. What I don't understand is why the price went up in the first place as we have a very strong pound that has gone up in value much more than the price of oil. Only a small percentage of their profit comes from oil that is used for fuel (diesel, petrol etc etc..), but they invest hundreds of millions of dollars to try and find something that only gives them that tiny profit.

It is the british government that should be held accountable for the vast amount of tax that they slap on top.  ______________________

That European fuel chart was interesting. Great to se that the UK are leading the way on expensive diesel!! Only 4th most expensive for unleaded 95 octaine; surely we can improve on this? .. just one more price hike should do it!!

Seems like our fuel prices go up whatever else happens in the world or to our currency!  Life is not a dress rehearsal!
