Well the price at the pump is supposed to be going to fall as the price of oil has dropped by $15 a barrel on the world markets in the last week.................................. I can safely predict that it will not fall in price anywhere nearly as quickly as it rose. What I don't understand is why the price went up in the first place as we have a very strong pound that has gone up in value much more than the price of oil. Methinks somebody apart from the treasury is profiteering at the moment................................... BP, Shell, Esso and Texaco will shortly be announcing their profits for the year and then we'll see! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

I call it the BEAST........................ I haven't enjoyed driving a Land Rover so much it the 12 years that I have been driving them! It's nearly as fast as the TVR450 I owned years ago, but at least the RRS doesn't leave a wet road going backwards at a rate of knots like the TVR could in the wrong hands. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet? Now driving - RRE Coupe Dynamic Lux Auto with Plus pack, Fuji White, Ebony, SD4 with tow pack Gone - 2010MY FFRR TDv8 Stornoway and Ivory, Privacy - the pace of a TDv8 RRS, the incomparable grace of a Range Rover Gone but will be missed- RRS Tdv8 HSE Stornoway Grey with Ebony Leather Gone (only a little missed) RRS Tdv6 2.7SE Giverny Green/Aspen Defender 90 County HT in Epsom Green |

Only a small percentage of their profit comes from oil that is used for fuel (diesel, petrol etc etc..), but they invest hundreds of millions of dollars to try and find something that only gives them that tiny profit. It is the british government that should be held accountable for the vast amount of tax that they slap on top. ______________________ 2011 Full Fat RR 4.4 TDV8 2012 FL2 SD4 Auto HSE 2013 Kawasaki Versys 650 |

Not sure I'm going to feel sorry for the poor old oil companies! They make their billions of profits from somewhere!
