2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver

First time as a passenger

For the first time in 2 1/2 years I was a passenger in the front seat of my freelander last night.

I was not very impressed, found the seat very odd and could not get it adjusted correctly. Maybe it's because I am use to driving the car, and missed having the controls in front of me! Or nervous the mrs was driving my car??

Anyone else found this???

Yes, me too!
But to be fair i've found this when being a passenger in any of my previous cars too, as you say i prefer to drive than be a passenger, although i make exceptions when guinness, red wine or beer etc is involved!

I prefer being a passenger in a car - that way I:

1: Have never been told off for hitting things
2: Tested other passenger's nerves
3: Swore at other road user's incompetence
4: Drove too fast
5: Braked too late
6: Or was late

And that's why I love riding motorbikes - I never took a pillion and swore like a trouper at everyone, rode as fsat as I wanted, braked in my own style, knee down as low as I my skill permitted, and could be late for everyone (or never turn up) when having a blast. Eat ya heart out Clarkson - bikes pound for pound are so much more fun (and faster) than tin boxes ever will be.

Motorcycles don't kill - death is due to careless riders, or more often, the results of poor driving by other 4 wheeled road users.

And don't people die in cars, busses, trains, bicycles, and all other forms of none wheeled transport. Don't be a dead bore or expose your prejudice. Needless accidents happen. On the Costa Brava or on the Costa Concordia.

I have a system of making me not care when I am a passenger and the wife is driving. Firstly drink lots of beer and secondly fall quickly to sleep.
