Hi, I've had that..engine sounded like a bag of bolts. Switched off immediately , gave it a minute and satrted again--no problem and it has never done it since!

I doubt if its glowplugs - they shouldn't kick in unless the weather is ultra cold Cheers,

I had the same problem- car was about 3 months old, started 'shaking'- switched off, got out and waited, got back in started - never happened again??? 2011 XS,Sumatra Black, GONE MARCH 2014- RR Evoque Prestige 5 door ,MY 2014,Loire Blue, Silver Roof, Panoramic roof.
