My rear plate, which is the larger size than yours by the way, is stuck on with 4 sticky pads 100mm long x 30mm wide, stuck on vertically at equal positions across the back of the plate, its never shifted. |

Big plate and sticky pads - borrow some of mrs t'a furniture polish and spray lashings onto the old sticky pads - this will dissolve the adhesive. You can then use a bit of t cut and some fairy to make sure the surface is clean and flat before sticking the new plate on Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints |

Should definitely be a big plate. It's a Rover tradition. From memory, Halfrauds do several varieties of sticky pad, some of which are designed to compensate for a curved surface - worth asking at their number-plate desk. |
