the torque app only reads obd2 diagnostics which is engine only data,

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately it would also appear to require a Windows PC which I don't have so that kind of rules it out...

The cheap eobd readers only read generic engine fault codes form the engine ecu as back in the mid nineties the european parliament passed a law for all manufacturers to use a standard 16pin diagnostic plug and a basic software to read it,

Have you checked the fluid in the Haldex? It was about half of what it should be on my 2007 and dark in colour. Just a thought. |

I've not done any checking under there yet, the wife only just made me aware of it earlier this week. It would be nice to be armed with the fault code before it's in for a routine service next week.

So the dealer pulled the codes and found P188914 which apparently means new oil and pump and very little change from £900...
