Slightly off topic but the other day I was with a group discussing the oldest car we had and someone said I wonder who owns the registration A1? Most assumed that it would be on a Rolls Royce or similar and probably owned by the Queen. I did a quick search and it's on a 2007 Mini Cooper S with only about 1500 miles on the clock! I would not like to think how much we all have spent over the years on cars.

I would estimate that I have spent the price of a nice house on cars and motorcycles over the years

The FL2 replaced a Volvo C70 GT T5 convertible. We had it for seventeen years and I miss the awesome acceleration from 240 bhp, but the FL2 is just a lot easier for me to get into and out of. Old age sucks! The FL2 is also probably a better tow car for my car trailer.

I know how you feel missing the acceleration. My FL replaced a Mazda CX-7 which was 260 bop and handled as if it was on rails. It also had the most comfortable drivers seat I’ve ever known.
