2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Zermatt Silver
Full grained leather option

Hi. I’ve just placed my order for an SD4 GS with a few additional options. One of these is the full grained (ebony) leather option, which includes the armrests and steering wheel. However, it’s not clear from the LR spec sheet as the whether or not it includes the leather trim door panels or not. I don’t think door trim is mentioned anywhere in the LR build/spec/price documentation.
The dealer seems a little vague about this so was wondering if anyone has a freelander with a factory fit leather upgrade option added and can shed any light on the door trim panels.
Thanks

Morocco 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

My doors panels are covered with black leather. My seats are Tan colored.
It's a 2012 HSE.

Niblets - FIO:
Her Ladyship's door cards are colour coded trims matched to her leather seats. However her FL2 is a MY2010 TD4-e "Newport" model that was only available in the Swiss market. It also has a full set of floor mats that are trimmed in matching leather.

But, I do not think that this information will assist you in the UK market with your new SD4 GS.

Thanks for the info on your cars (the tan leather looks great by the way) - I'm told that the leather option is basically the seating from the HSE, which includes armrests and steering wheel. I'm assuming that the door cards/panels are also as per the HSE owing to the leather but can't seem to get any confirmation of this. I think its a reasonable assumption but you just never know!

Not sure how much LR are changing for the leather option, but have you considered the option of a aftermarket leather option put in? Colour and stitching of your choice and could work out cheaper, but might struggle getting armrests

Yes, that was my original plan but it actually worked out at around £400 or so more to go for factory fit option which also gives armrests (back and front), leather steering wheel and electric seat adjustment so thought it worth the extra.
