I have an 07 SE manual. Its a load of old rubbish but the gearbox, although clonky, seems to work. I have Warranty Direct cover. Although it covers the majority of the problems regularly listed on here, I have just noticed that they have recently re-written the policy document to exclude DMF damaged by clutch friction plates!! I have had to claim once - so far - and was reimbursed within 10 days.

NO definately not! That seems like a panic reaction to a few serious problems by a very few people on here. All the rest of 07/57 FL2s are probably just fine!! |

And to cap the lot, I have just swapped in my 07 FL2 with 108,000 miles on it (all by me) with absolutely no clutch or gearbox problems at all.

I agree with the above, my mother for example treats clutches terribly. She uses the clutch to regulate her speed, driving along with the clutch slipping |

I don't think it's fair to say that all low mileage cars are worse than high mileage in relation to clutch wear.

I’m surprised you’ve managed to put 1,000 miles on it Annie. Judging by the amount of modifications you do you must spend more time underneath it than driving it. ![]() ![]() |

Hi Annie, I would not presume to be so rude. Have you replaced the badge that normally says “GS” or “XS” with Annie, as I’m sure Land Rover would not recognise it as one of theirs? |

It's in a lot better state now than when i got it from Crpstones. It had the contents of a field underneath it. It was in a terrible state. The springs underneath were caked with mud and there was mud up inside the body beyond the arches. It went back twice for a clean underneath. Minging and that's from a Land Rover dealer.
