I’m lay here at deaths door with a very serious virus and swmbo says I only have a cold. Okay it’s not quite as painful as childbirth but it does make your eyes water just the same. I’m only asking for a few hot drinks every half hour and perhaps some homemade chicken soup now and again but all I get is “you should try being a woman”. Just because I can use my laptop doesn’t mean I’m not one step away from A&E. I’ve tried to help by leaving my snotty tissues on the floor in a neat pile but this just makes her tut and heavy breath. I’ve told her that if I’d gone to Thailand and married a Ting Tong I would have got a better service but for some reason this just winds her up even more. Now she’s told me to watch this video, but I don’t get it?

Thats all they always say, the reference to childbirth.
Us blokes can't possibly guess what childbirth pain is like, neither do the opposite sex understand man flu.

Get yourself some fresh chillies in a decent dish, later some nice malt or a Benedictine with hot water, you'll feel much better.

I've just got over man flu myself, the wife got girl flu and went to work to spread it about abit

Now the youngest has just scabbed over chicken pox and the other ones just blistered with the pox

Our local cheap shop had it at £9 a bottle recently, took the neighbour down and we cleaned them out
Nowt like a good drop of Beny to ease away the day.

Well for the last 2 winters I have not had Flu (he says touching wood to stop a jinx). I have the Flu jab but the key is Honey. Manuka is excellent but I have the Medibee Honey from a place in Chesterfield in Derbyshire. It has been proven to be just as good and in some cases better than Honey costing lots more.

1 or 2 spoonfuls each morning for me or some on toast etc and it helps build a shield against Flu etc. This stuff can defeat ecoli and MRSA.

The doctor is never wrong! I also believe in Manuka and also take a vitamin C tablet every day. I have not had a single sick day off in over 25 years (but I do moan a lot!) I think I got this on a plane because they recirculate the cabin air. Never mind, flying out to Dusseldorf for the day on Monday and can give it someone else, a problem shared ………………..

I've only just shaken off my Man Flu which started at Christmas! Despite having my regular flu jab too!
It took THREE courses of antibiotics to get rid of it ... and I haven't had a cold in about 10 years.

I've had over 250 stitches, 33 screws, broke every metatarsal, two bone grafts, two metal plates and made a mess of tib, fib and femur and a mangled foot rotated 180 deg without a pulse. All in one RTA. Hence the name 'pegleg'.
Then they drilled right through my tibia just below the knee without any local and tapped a 5 inch metal pin in the hole with a hammer.

I was just 21 years old then.

Missed my football, cricket and golf though,
