Got hold of the LED's and with a nice dry day decided to fit them, passenger side one was a piece of cake and was changed in a flash and the improvement is amazing but i spent 30 minutes trying to prize the drivers side unit out and it simply wouldnt budge (and yes i undone the 2 fixing bolts and pressed the finger release), it seemed caught at the wing area and despite numerous attempts and frustration setting in I gave up. Then to avoid having odd side lights had to replace the passenger side one back to a normal bulb!

They can be a fidle sometimes. Try moving the peg up and down whilst putting a little pressure on the headlight itself ? Goodluck! |

Tried again today with my old man to lend a hand, between us we still couldnt get the fecking thing out, appears to be really tight against the wing at the bottom half of the headlamp unit, do you think if i asked nicely at LR they would sort it for me? |

Dropped into my local LR dealer and they kindly sent a 'technician' out to help me get the drivers side light unit out, he even did the passenger side for me too - excellent service. LED sidelights look absolutely superb, really make a difference - think they will be my daytime running lights now as well!! Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black
