I replaced the rear wiper blade after our fl2 started making a horrible squeaking / screeching noise when its active.

The rear wiper motor has a design fault which allows water / washer fluid to travel down the shaft and into the gearbox, causing rust and eventual seizure. If you catch it in the early stages you can clean & regrease - a bit of a tricky job but a lot cheaper than a new wiper motor assembly at £140.
