Now then Free911, its the insane ramblings on here that make the Forum what it is
As mentioned, look out for clutch/DMF problems, doesn't seem to be mileage/use related and can happen anytime.
Auto boxes are generally reliable but some circa 2007 ones are having problems.
Ensure it starts easily, the glow plugs have an automatic delay before cranking, they are difficult to change also.
Expect the ride to be excellent and wind noise negligible.
Parking sensors can be a little problematic with strange audible noises when not expected, a good wipe around the sensor face with wax polish helps.
Listen for noises from rear diff, like a 'droning' noise, a bearing change would be needed.
Parking brakes can seize and become ineffective, just needs stripping, cleaning, copper slipping and assembling.
Projector halogen lights, not the best so go for xenon's if possible.
Make sure you get two remotes with the car and use both regularly to keep charged.
Rear door locking can fail due to water ingress, check it with the remote.
Check for even tyre wear and get a 4 wheel alignment done if uneven.
Take it for a drive and look for any warning messages in the centre info screen, like 'reduced power' etc.
Cycle through the Terrain Response settings and ensure it drives with no warning messages.
