Been with Frizzells (now LV) for about 40 years and my premium was £160 fully comp, self and wife, guaranteed no claims and voluntary work covered. I didn't think this was bad.

NFU are the best insurers we have ever dealt with, they pay up and do not try to rob you. However after our last claim for a stolen defender, even with fully protected no claims our premium has doubled to £800 !, but it would be false economy to change. We have our contents insurance with them and will be moving the building policy as well, as CG says real people you can deal with. 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership 2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles . Well guys, here in Sweden, a Stockholm insurance costs me about 1400 - 2500 € per year... then again I don't need to contact them to check whether it's still valid for winter tyres... It's never too late to learn something new... |

I have been with LV for the past 3 years, they were half the price of everyone else when I joined them, it has gone up by about £50 each year, mines about £680 now though!! I have included work use (not just going to and from work) which I am guessing bumps it up but essential when I am visiting sites three or four times a week.
