Land Rovers coveted Dealer of the Year & Service Centre of the Year for 2011 have both been awarded to the Farnell Land Rover Group of West Yorkshire, Farnell - Bradford, Farnell - Central Leeds & Farnell - Guiseley.

I have bought from and used the service centre at Farnell - Guisely for the last five years and congratulate them on this thoroughly deserved award.

A top rate group of people who still have 'Customer Service' at heart.

Another Yorkshire company, Guy Salmon Wakefield have wone it several times. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.

English by birth..... Yorkshire by the grace of God.

Not used them for sales but have used the service dept at leeds and had nothing but praise for them

Been 3 weeks now without a squeak from the local LR official service centre or LR Switzerland on her Laydship's claim for a new rear tailgate handle. Shocking lethargic customer support here in Switzerland

We now have two late FL1's and my FL2 all bought and maintained by Farnell at Guisely.

Have been fortunate that have had very little warranty claim work done on any of them over the years.

However things do go wrong sometimes and Farnell's have always been very quick, knowledgeable and fair in their dealings with these matters.

Having said that, sometimes, it is how you deal with them ( them being any repair garage).

Be a total prat with them and you may well get the same response back.

I do accept though that some LR dealerships are just prats without really trying and that, unfortunately, appears to be the problem you are having.

I had to have some dealings with the local Huddersfield LR dealers some weeks ago ( not out of choice ) and eventually had to get LR Customer Care involved to sort things out for me.

you forget to mention that to celebrate they have a limited number of 0% apr deals - FL2 TD4 GS included - contact the dealer for more details - these are the deposit, monthly payment then final payment deal. I forget the full figures but total cost will be in your favour if there is no interest to pay - an immediate saving.

This was brought up RRSport 0% isn't alway the best way forward as you should look at total cost to swap etc

As with everything if a dealer is doing finance they get a commission in that, with 0% they might not have as much room for discounts on the car and so on Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
