FREELANDER TOOLKIT

One week and cant find a thing wrong.....Its a Landrover, owned many and last 2 where d3.

But guess what whilst walking towards the front of the car, hanging out the bottom of the engine, I noticed a shiny Tube ??

I looked and peice by peice removed several very expensive peices of a socket set. I guess these where dealers and not factory, or could this be where the Toolkit is kept ?

Any way, the tools will be on ebay soon,,,have you seen the price of snap on tools !

Looking forward to tommorow, may find other treasures Rolling with laughter

You could speak to the dealer, and offer not to tell the press about the dangerous socket set in the engine bay, and see if you can't get a driver training day, some nice extras, or anything else that ay be worth more than the socket set would go for.

I bet they wouldn't want people to know they could be that careless

The would probably not believe or try and sell it to me as the official kit..

My dealer is Ok, and accidents happen, I will make my money on ebay...

If the car was giving me hell I would be screaming though

Well accidents can happen, the most i have found in my cars is a old screwdriver.

But you should tell the dealership, as this "could" have caused major problems to your car.

Sure they maybe missing them but, a poor mechanic normally has to buy his own tools,

so, post an anomanous letter telling them their sockets are on ebay, for a small price Laughing
