I need to buy a cycle carrier that fits to the rear hatch.

I will only be using it to carry my Grandson`s bike about four times a year whilst also towing our caravan, so I don`t want to spend loads of money.

I have seen some on Ebay for about £ 22. Has anyone any experience of these please ?

halfrauds high level bike rack is fine for occasional use, £50 or so. as for the caravan towing bit....no comment  At work

I have a strap on works a treat and great for occasional use. Just be sure the straps are secure and it will be fine:thumbsup:

If Taz rides his bike he is to knackered to lift it up onto the rack so just slings it to the rear recovery point and drags it to the nearest hospital/oxygen tent At work

If you are worried about the possible damage to the van you can hire a rigid bike box to carry the bike in .

i carry my kids bikes in the caravan, there never dirty or anything, but i store them in the rear bunk, which lifts up
