Chassi Number Freelander 2

Hi there Freelander 2 forum,
I need to understand where the chassinumber is on my Freelander 2 (Model Year 2010). Not the one in the front window but the one stamped on the Chassi. I have imported my car to Sweden and the vehicle inspector company will not accept the car if I can't find the Chassinumber (the inspector could not find it).

Anyone that please can help me?

There is a number stamped into the body just forward of the spare wheel compartment.

United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Izmir Blue

UK, Europe and ROW The VIN label is located at the bottom of the left-hand front door 'B' Pillar.
The 2.2 Liter Diesel Engine Serial Number is stamped on the RH side of the cylinder block. Thumbs Up

Cheers mate. I found the plate but need the stamped chassinumber. I think mine is a 2.0 Diesel. (Td4). I will ask the inspector to look at the cylinder block as you mention. Best, Per

I believe this stamp is where the rear seats sit on the chassis cross member, haven't searched for it myself but have been told it's between the spare wheel and rear seat, maybe under some carpet/felt. Exclamation

its in the boot on the edge of the spare wheel well its a computer welded number think it will start with SAL Thumbs Up rainy-city

Hey, i found it (under the carpet, under the rear seat, access via the boot as you said) Very Happy Very glad. Now i can register the car and get it approved. Thanks a lot for your help.
