There is a number stamped into the body just forward of the spare wheel compartment. |

UK, Europe and ROW The VIN label is located at the bottom of the left-hand front door 'B' Pillar.

Cheers mate. I found the plate but need the stamped chassinumber. I think mine is a 2.0 Diesel. (Td4). I will ask the inspector to look at the cylinder block as you mention. Best, Per

I believe this stamp is where the rear seats sit on the chassis cross member, haven't searched for it myself but have been told it's between the spare wheel and rear seat, maybe under some carpet/felt. |

its in the boot on the edge of the spare wheel well its a computer welded number think it will start with SAL rainy-city
