United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 Dynamic Auto Fuji White
PTC

Now its a little colder, I'm beginning to doubt the PTC heater in my MY10. The air doesn't appear significantly warmer first thing, until the engine warms up. Perhaps my PTC isn't working. Should the air actually feel warm with the heater on?

Not as warm as when the engine is warm but you should certainly notice a difference. As npinks said in another post, it operates automatically according to outside temp so no need to press anything (not sure how low the temp needs to be to trigger it)

By the time I had scraped the ice off the side windows the other morning, there was a noticeable difference in warmth in the cabin.

hi best way i can discribe is its like having a hair dryer on the lowest possible setting you can just about feel the difference in temp but it enough to start the de frost process Thumbs Up rainy-city
