FL2. parted company with it today

Have sold my SD as no longer need a 4wd, will miss it but we only need 1 vehicle now and it is a Merc C Class.
Enjoyed all the posts, arguments etc over last 3-4 years and will still have a wee look now and again.

I have 4 SE wheels with 235/65x17 Continental Tyres. They are original equipment and all with 4-5mm tread, wheels totally unmarked and complete with centre caps. No punctures and original balance weights.
Also black leather centre console with sliding top, Italian model sold on ebay or Amazon.

Anyone interested? PM me. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.

All the best with the new motor Thumbs Up

Merc's are RWD aren't they? If so, perhaps winter tyres would be a good idea cos even if it's mild down here in England, bonnie Scotland can still have lots of snow!

P.S, post some pics of the new car Very Happy LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I can imagine a BMW will give you a massive annual saving over a Disco, the one I run as a company motor is £90 road tax, can't get less than 42mpg average pulls like a train, and will do mid 50mpg on a run at 80 mph, and thats with a 170ps engine, at two years old it's not as efficient as the newer models, don't know how BM and Audi are getting the performance out of their 2 litre diesels, the 3 litres are also incredible. They are on condition based servicing and I don't think this one was touched 'till the first oil service at about 19,000. this is my 3rd and the other 2 all went over 100k miles with no significant problems. Only pricey thing is if you get one fitted with Run-Flats, the garage will not repair them 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Thinking of getting rid of both LRs, the FL2 and D3, then getting an Evoque, only because of their MPG and a BMW, again for its MPG. Evolve or die in this present financial climate.

the new FR2 has the same engine as the Evoque and costs less to buy but you will lose 4-5mpg 1995 P38 now dead

I've got an FL2 auto and a manual BMW 320D - a good combination with all bases covered !! Can't fault the BMW - 134 K miles / 10 years old and still average of 52 mpg and still on original battery and clutch etc.

Work colleague has recently got a BMW 320d with Efficient Dynamics technology and is consistently getting mpg in the mid 60's and has managed 76 mpg on an overnight motorway run at an average 65 mph. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Although not happy I was relatively content with my FL2 with a best mpg of 42 and average of 35 until he told me that. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Didn’t buy the SD4 for fuel economy but yesterday I got a pleasant surprise when I clocked 41.1 mpg
