Some say the front 'bib' spoilers help to stop this, I'm not convinced though but for something like a 'tenner' it's no loss if it doesn't work.

If you feel like giving the bib spoilers a try, give Dan a ring at Duckworths. He can order them for you and postage is free to forum members. Cost is £4 each plus VAT. 2010 HSE TD4 auto, Biscay Blue, Almond Leather, facelift front and rear, detachable towbar, front & rear mudflaps, bib spoilers, clear high level brake light, smooth rear wiper, colour coded door handles.

Agreed As0001. There is usually a lot of water all over the screen and I have now started putting the wipers on turbo mode just prior to hitting the puddle.

My latest Freelander (11my) with the small spats at the front is better at deflecting splashes than both my previous ones, but there again I usually try to completely empty any puddles into the adjacent fields at the first pass through!!!!!

Just fitted the smaller, later ones (great service again from Duckworths) and so far they seem to be making a difference - or maybe I'm just running out of puddles to empty round these parts

Never had a pre face lift so I would not know how much water reaches the screen, but I do know on our new fl2 even with spats on my wife can still get the water on the windscreen , |

Remove the windscreen, that'll slow them down through the puddles. 2009 FL2 GS
