Playing dirty with cars is big and clever - anyone fancy giving me a hand straitening the fuel tank skid plate - again Having said that there is a fair amount of mud IN the car due to size 13s and muddy wellingtons. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner |

I like the mud. In fact, I swapped the flash looking 18inch alloys for the pretty boring 17inch version so I could fit the offroad tyres. Whilst I like the mud, I don't really like it all over the side of the vehicle. Worse still, I don't like all of the little rocks that tend to travel with the mud up the side of my vehicle putting an increasing number of little chips in the paint. To someone's earlier point - why do LR produce a vehicle positioned in the market to go offroad without mud flaps. Nonetheless, there are many out there who say that the flaps everyone is using don't do a brilliant job. It seems there's aren't many choices. I was hopeing there might be a few aftermarket choices these days but it seems there's the LR flaps or exact copies of the LR flaps! ! ! ! Is anyone aware of any serious oversized mothereffing flaps that hang right down and even stop stones flicking up on the the front of the camper trailer or caravan??? |
