Its definately there. I've seen the fumes by the right front wheel today after work. Now I only have to check how much is it to add rc unit. |

I've seen the pipe and the smoke on mine but it's still damn cold in the mornings when you first get in. Isn't this what those heaters are supposed to do? Turn on when outside temperatures are below a certain level?

Has any one tried one of these, we use them at work, found them very reliable, you can spec them up with a timer, additional silencer for the exhaust mount them on the outside with a thermostat on the inside, ours use between 1 and 2 litres of fuel a night.

I had a defender fitted with an eberspacher disel heater (I used the vehicle in Finland) - it was fairly simple to fit and ran well. I had the standard control system fitted which was a timer system manually operated but as an option eberspacher sold a fancy remote system which would allow you to heat the car whilst you were finishing your toast. This system heated the cooling curcuit water - made it easy to start and the vehicle was warm when you got in. As I recall it was in the order of £1000 and I fitted it so it is not a cheap option. |

Could be why in the instructions it states that it should not be in use whilst filling up |
